I had a really in depth conversation with my boyfriend and we ended up talking about the future. He mentioned this quote,

 and it got me thinking about how I want to serve people through design. In order to serve people well it's good to have a set of values. Here's my set of values: 

• People over profit. 
• Strive for excellence. 
• Failure is an opportunity to learn. 
• Motivation shouldn't be based on fear. 
• Treat others the way you want to be treated. 
• Think beyond yourself but be true to who you are (be authentic)
• Step out of your comfort zone - do something that scares you. 
• Be a life learner. 
• Take responsibility.
